(I promise my kid doesn't always look like simon birch, just in this picture. and I don't dress her in sweaters in June (this was taken in December)
Ok, so this isn't exactly food.. and even though Wynter really likes to eat it- it tastes pretty bad. But, that being sad it is fun to make, fun to play with, and it lasts forever!!
Kool- Aid Play dough
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
3 teaspoons cream of tarter
1 package kool- aid
1 tablespoon cooking oil
mix dry ingredients together in a sauce pan. slowly add water mixed with oil and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens to dough. turn out onto heat proof bread board or counter and knead until cool enough for children to handle. dough will be the color of the kool-aid mix and smell like kool-aid. Store in air tight container for up to SIX months!!
